Matthew Beattie Wins Spring Season 2008 Tournament of Champions
Matthew Beattie came back from an almost 20:1 chip disadvantage against Danielle Angier heads-up to win Vermont Poker League’s Spring Season 2008 Tournament of Champions, and win a $1,100 tournament entry for the Foxwoods Poker Classic next month.

The rest of final table was as follows:
10th - Greg Randall
9th - Dave Radaker
8th - Peter Woods
7th - Bruce Johnson
6th - Steve Mishkit
5th - Jim Sears
4th - Kirk Davis
3rd - Shane Taylor
A big thank you to our Tournament Directors; Rici White, Sue Bogash, Bill Allen, and Shawn Dunne, all of our location sponsors and especially to the 100+ players who came out for our largest event yet, and the 400+ players who played in one of our events this past season.
One year ago we started with one location and 30 players and now we’re the largest Poker League’s in Vermont and one of the largest in all of New England.
