New Side Game
Continuing our series of introducing a new game for our extra Sit-n-Go tournaments, this season players will be learning a split-pot game: Double Flop Hold’em.

The game plays similar to Texas Hold’em except there will be two flops of three cards each, two turn cards and two river cards. The best hand for each board will win half the pot. If someone has the best hand for both boards they will “scoop” or win the entire pot.

Event #500
Vermont Poker League has held over 400 tournament since it’s inception two years ago, event #500th will occur sometime during the first half of this season. When is it? Where is it? What will happen? It’s a secret, but it will be something special.

Prizes for Winter Season
The Grand Prize winner this season will have a choice of playing in an ACT III at Foxwoods for the $10,000 WPT main event in March, or a trip to Las Vegas to play in a satellite for the WSOP main event at The Rio in June or July.
