Matt Patoine’s Vegas Trip

Here’s Fall Season 2010 Champion Matt Patonie’s Vegas Trip report.

When we got into Las Vegas we had lunch right at the hotel at Marilyn’s Cafe.  The food was great and the people working there couldn’t have been any nicer.  We went and checked out some of the strip after lunch.  We played some at Bally’s and Planet Hollywood casinos, and walked through Caesers, Bellagio, and Paris.  At the end of the night we played at Bill’s Gambling Hall and at Tuscany.

Thursday we went down the south end of the strip cheking out all of the casinos and shops.  We went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and had lunch there, then went to see the Lion Habitat at MGM Grand.  For dinner it was The Tournament of Kings show at Excalibur.  In the evening I played in two tournaments at Bill’s Gambling Hall and ended up winning the second one, and saw the Bellagio fountains and the Mirage volcano.

We got an early start in the morning and went up the north side of the strip seeing all the casinos.  We had lunch at the Sahara and then we went to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop that you see on tv called Pawn Stars.  There was a huge line to go into the pawn shop, it took a half an hour in line to go in.  Near the end of the trip we rode the monorail up and down to go to a few of our favorite places before we had to go back to the airport.  The trip was amazing and the weather was just as great.
