Sit-n-Gos – Another Way to Qualify

We’ve been testing these out for the past couple of weeks, but now they are official. Tournament of Champion’s Second Chance Sit-n-Gos.

Vermont Poker League will be running side tournaments for any players who have been knocked out of the main weekly tournament at a given location. The side tournaments are run in the same fashion as the main tournament with the following exceptions; starting chips are only $1000 and there are no league points awarded for play. The side tournaments will start when at least 6 players are available and we will continue to start them as long as there is interest and the main tournament is still running. These side tournaments are only open to players who have played and busted out of that day’s main tournament.

What do I win?

The  winner of any ToC Sit-n-Go will win an automatic entry into the Season Ending Tournament of Champions with 1000 starting chips. If the player has already won an entry either by winning a regular league week, or by winning a previous Sit-n-Go that player will only receive an additional 500 ToC starting chips.
