Charity Poker Tournament – May 16th

There will be a charity poker tournament to benefit the Vermont Children’s Hospital on Saturday May 16th at Chasers Bar and Grill on Evelyn Street in Rutland, VT, starting at 12 noon, registration starts at 11:30am.

  • No Limit Texas Hold’em
  • $85 buy-in ($55+20+10)
  • No rebuys or add-ons
  • $10 bounty per player
  • 5000 starting chips
  • 20 minute blind levels
  • Standard WSOP blind schedule (25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 100/200/25, etc.

Friday Night Events – Rutland Bowlerama at 8pm

Starting this Friday, April 10th, the Friday Night Rutland events will be held at Rutland

Sports Legends Sunday Events Moved to Chasers Bar and Grill

Due to the closing of Sports Legends, there will be no event today, April 5th. Starting on 4/19 the events that were held at Sports Legends at 4pm on Sundays will be moved to Chasers Bar and Grill on Evelyn Street in Rutland and will start at 5pm. All Sports Legends Sunday 1k membership cards will be valid at Chasers.

Friday events will also be moved to a new location. Check back later this week for details.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our players, and we thank Sports Legends for their support of Vermont Poker League over the past year and wish everyone involved the best of luck with all of their future endeavors.

The Vermont Poker League Spring Season 2009 will be starting the week of March 23rd.

The Grand Prize will be a trip to Las Vegas in June, including hotel and airfare, with a chance to play in the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event. Plus a special secondary prize that is almost as good.

Winter Season 2009 Tournament of Champions

This season’s Tournament of Champions will be held on Sunday March 22nd at Sports Legends Restaurant in the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland, VT. Registration will start at 12 noon, the awards presentation will start at 12:45 with the tournament starting directly after.

Event #500 was held on Sunday January 25th at Sports Legends in Rutland. This event was also the two year anniversary for Vermont Poker League.
