Point System

Points are based on a sliding scale dependent on the number of entries during a given week.

Bounty

Each player is given a plain blue “bounty” chip along with their starting tournament chips. When a player is knocked out, the player who made the elimination is awarded the departing player’s “bounty” chip. These chips are worth 5 points toward your overall standing. When a player who has acquired multiple bounty chips is eliminated that play must only give up one bounty chip, the one he started with, s/he cannot “lose” their previous eliminations.

The player who won the previous week’s tournament will be given a special red bounty chip. This chip is worth 20 points to the player who knocks out the previous week’s winner.

Advancement to Tournament of Champions

Each weekly winners along with the top 20-30% overall from each location will advance to the season ending Tournament of Champions. Starting chip stacks are based on performance during league play. The following accomplishments are awarded as follows.

Less than 10 players

2nd – 1000

10 to 19 players
1st – 2000
2nd – 1000
3rd – 500

20 to 29 players
1st – 2500
2nd – 1500
3rd – 1000
4th – 500

30+ players
1st – 2500
2nd – 1500
3rd – 1000
4th – 1000
5th – 500
6th – 500

Overall Location Winner (points) – 3500 starting chips
Top 10% (points not counting winner) – 2500 starting chips
Top 11-20% (points) – 1500 starting chips

ToC Sit-n-Go Winners:

1-3 Sit-n-Gos – 500 ToC Chips each
4-5 Sit-n-Gos – 250 ToC Chips each*
6+ Sit-n-Gos – 100 Toc Chips each*
* Second place player also receives credit for winning a Sit-n-Go

These are cumulative. Example: If a player wins two weeks during league play, and finishes in the top 10% over all the player will start the Tournament of Champions with 6500 chips (2500 x 2 plus 2000). However, while players are free to play at multiple locations, they may only qualify for the Tournament of Champions from one location.
